Fall 2019 Greetings from AFS
As summer ends and as the days start to get darker, winter is fast approaching and the end of the year is near. The months feel like the are coming faster and faster, as well as the seasons. It serves as a great time to evaluate my goals for this year and what I hope for and envision for the coming year for my business, as well as personally. Budget preparation time should be in full swing for most businesses. If you do not have a budget, I think of it as if I were driving on a long road trip without a map. How well would I hit my targeted destination? Would I get lost, would it be bumpy, and would it take time to arrive at my destination? Most likely, yes!
Budgeting is a mere look at your anticipated income, expenses, and anticipated changes (program, operational, staff, etc.) It also serves as an opportunity to step back and look at the big picture. Is your business on target for your goals? Do you have enough staff or enough qualified staff? Do you dream of having more adequate office space to better serve your clients and staff and to expand? Budgeting does not have to be daunting. Dare to dream, yet, be realistic about your goals.

Now Accepting Donations
Applied Financial Services is hosting a donation drive for the homeless all through October. Please drop off any warm blankets and adult jackets between 9 – 5, Monday through Friday and help us support our local community. Your donations are greatly appreciated!
