Meet Our Team

Roxanne Albin has been in the financial services industry for over twenty years. Her financial career started off in bookkeeping. She later became the Business, Finance, and Administrative Director at a local 501c-3 nonprofit, where she worked for eleven years. Roxanne received her Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Management and her Master’s degree in Global Management from Dominican University of California. She has a passion for helping nonprofits and is known for her ability to clean up and improve disparate systems.

Roxanne’s role includes: client relationship management, directing AFS staff, coaching sessions, cleaning up and streamlining client systems, contract management, and overseeing accounting and auditing processes.

Roxanne serves as a Board Member for Marin Alano Club, Postpartum Support Center, and Trust Referral Group.

In her free time, Roxanne loves to play with her grandchildren, spend time with her family and friends, hike, kayak, and play with her two dogs, horses Nugget and Trigger, cats, and chickens.

Tania Jackson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University.

Tania started her career with AFS in April 2018. Tania’s role at Applied Financial Services, Inc. includes: staff workflow management, supervising month-end close tasks, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing A/R, balance sheet reconciliations, staff workflow management, client calendar management, and month-end close activities.

In her free time, Tania likes to exercise, explore nature, read, spend time with family, and her dog, Bella.

Laura Kelley has a Bachelor of Business Administration – Accounting from Saginaw Valley State University. Laura started her career with AFS in August 2021.

Laura comes to AFS with 12 years of experience in the non-profit industry, as a Director of Finance for a medium sized non-profit. Laura also owned a home medical equipment and home oxygen business, with her husband, before selling it to a national organization.

In her free time, Laura likes to ride motorcycles with her husband and friends, read and spend time with her adult twin sons and her cats.

Sage Beaube has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fresno State University.

Sage started his career with AFS in July of 2019. Sage’s role at AFS is as a bookkeeper, which entails the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks required to maintain our clients’ books. Some of these tasks include the daily financial entries, weekly payments to vendors, and monthly invoicing to customers.

In his free time Sage enjoys spending time with friends and family, going walks with his dog, and going to see new movies at the theater.

Elisa Paredes has a Degree in Accounting from University ‘’UABC’’ Campus Tijuana, Baja California in Mexico.

Elisa started her career with AFS in February of 2020. Elisa's role is accountant. Her tasks include: bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing accounts receivable, and financial statement preparation.

In her free time, Elisa likes to go hiking, explore new places, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
